Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Urgent Rishta. By creating a profile you agree to them.

Who can use this service

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally free to marry.
• You may hold one profile. Duplicate accounts are removed.
• You may create a profile for a close family member with their knowledge and consent — this is normal for rishta, but the person must know.

What you agree to do

• Give accurate information: your real age, marital status, education and family details.
• Upload photos of yourself (or of the person whose profile it is) and not of anybody else.
• Treat other members and their families respectfully.
• Keep your password to yourself.

What is not allowed

• False information about age, marital status, income or qualifications.
• Photos of other people, celebrities, or anything indecent.
• Harassment, abusive language, threats, or continuing to contact someone who has declined.
• Asking members for money, or using the platform for business, advertising, or collecting contact details.
• Any illegal purpose, or approaching anyone under 18.
• Copying profile data, scraping the site, or automated access.

Accounts breaking these rules may be suspended or removed without refund. We review profiles and photos before they appear and act on reports from members.

What we do and do not promise

We provide a platform for introductions. We review profiles and remove ones we find to be fake or abusive, but we cannot verify everything anybody tells us, and we do not guarantee that a member's information is truthful.

We do not promise you will find a match, and we are not a party to anything that follows — meetings, engagements or marriages are entirely between the families involved.

Please carry out your own checks before any commitment: meet in person, involve your family, and verify education, employment and family background independently. Our safety guide explains how.

Paid plans and the wallet

• Plans unlock features such as messaging and seeing phone numbers. What each includes is shown on the plans page.
• Plans do not renew automatically. When one expires your account returns to the free plan and nothing further is charged.
• Wallet credit can be spent on plans, boosts and gifts. It is not cash and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
• Payments and refunds are covered on the refunds page.

Your content

What you upload remains yours. You give us permission to display it to other members according to your privacy settings, and to store it so the service works. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Suspending or closing an account

You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, is reported repeatedly, or appears to be fraudulent. Where a paid plan is cancelled for a rules breach, we are not obliged to refund it.

Limits of our responsibility

The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or contain errors.

We are not responsible for the conduct of members, whether online or in person. Where we are found liable, our responsibility is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

Nothing here removes rights you have under Pakistani consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and significant changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
